After gliding back to the party with my heart full of doubt and worry for Bethany since I had no idea if she was okay, I swear to God I was going to make that Melinda's life a living hell if anything were to happen to her, I was at a corner of the gala where a man started to address the invited guests on the podium while making funny jokes and making his audience laugh but the event was starting to get real boring for me, I dropped my empty champagne glass on the table on front of me, and was about to turn and leave when someone called me back but I don't suppose I know this girl.
