Xavier’s POV
It’s four am and we have just got home, I silently enter my room, well it’s our room really, Briar sleeps here all the time now, I see her sleeping form, starfished across my bed, I climb into bed, trying not to wake her, I fail miserably, her first connects with my jaw as she keeps at me. We roll off the bed, and I twist to make sure I land below her, “baby it’s me, calm down”. She stills, her fist raised as she straddles me.
“Xavier? Oh my goddess, are you ok? I am so sorry baby,” she kisses my all over my face, I wrap my arms around her, “I’m fine baby, at least I know if a strange man climbs in your bed you are able to take them out, that’s some right hook you got kitten.”
She giggles and gets up. Turning on the light and admiring the bruise on my jaw, then she jumps in
