Briars POV
After a night under the stars, we ate breakfast and packed everything away. We again followed the pathway created by the trees. After an hour of walking, the forest opens to a beautiful waterfall.
Xavier walks towards it, only to be stopped by an invisible barrier. The spectre of a beautiful woman appeared. She floated above the lagoon at the bottom of the waterfall. Megan gasps, “it’s Luna Seren,”
The vision of Luna Seren stopped in front of us. “Only the daughter of my blood may pass.” An altar appeared on our side of the barrier. There was a chalice and a dagger, “I’m guessing I need to shed a little blood,” I take the dagger and slice my palm, allowing my blood to fall into the chalice.
The vision smiles, “welcome child of the Blue Snow, come with me,” she holds her hand
