(Penny’s POV) I drove endlessly across the streets of Somerville, completely lost in thought. I tended to do that a lot, didn’t I? The thing is, it may seem weird, but driving was one of the few things that gave me peace. Feeling the wind on your face and in your hair, speeding up and watching buildings and other scenery blur past… There was nothing quite like it. I didn’t have anything on my mind, I just kept going around in circles, taking in deep breaths and singing along to music from the radio and enjoying the fresh air on my face.
