“Wait, that’s it? That’s all there is to the story?” Cataliya stared at me when I was done telling her my hook-up tale— well, the altered version of it that in no way involved her boss.
I had never seen her look so disappointed like she did now.
To think that my s*x life would be the pivot that would push her to that point.
“Why, were you expecting something more?” I raised an eyebrow, fighting the urge to laugh at her insane detective skills, “I just met him at the shopping mall, we went straight to the hotel, had s*x, and I came home, end of story. I’m sorry my s*x life is not as entertaining as you had assumed it would be.” I lied through my teeth, hoping to the heavens that I was convincing enough.
