Kayla pov

I was waiting outside, i was actually walking back in forth on the porch bored out of me mind, i knew uncle Spike and grandpa was already upstairs because i heard dad tell them to head up to find the money, but what was taking so long, i decided to walk over to one of the houses i think it was safe to say noone was going to run outside or try and run inside, i was looking through the windows at one of the houses, there was nothing inside, the walls look like the paint was chipping off the walls, there was trash scattered all over the floors, I knew i needed to get back over there before anything else started or they come out, if i wasn’t at my post I knew dad would be pissed, besides i never left my post before. and i was bored like crazy, I headed back over deciding i would head inside, it was getting to be really late and i knew we should had left by now, i was just walking inside when the man that was on the floor pulled a gun out shooting at everyone, then he pointed the gun at my mother, i had to hurry, pulling out my gun i aimed right at his head shooting right between his eyes, he fell backwards on the floor, i ran over to my mom after i put my gun away hugging her tightly, i was crying me the tough girl i was crying because a f*****g ass hole was pointing at gun at her,

Im sorry mom, but when he was aiming the gun at you, i had to do something., please don’t be mad at me,” She was holding me tightly running her hand up and down my back,

Honey, i'm not mad at you, you did what you had to do, now let's get the money and these girls so they can shower and rest up,” After i calmed down., we poured gas all over the house, i made sure there was enough gas on the dead women and the ass hole, then i threw a match down on the guy, i watched him burn for a few minutes until dad pulled me away,

“Kayla, come on, we have to go before the cops get here.. We don't need any trouble from the human cops. I knew he was right. Walking away, the fire was spreading fast. good that means the bodies will be burnt to ash before the fire trucks grt there, Even if they knew there is a fire someplace, gets here, When we got home, I showed the three girls that i found out one was named Vegas, the other two were named Rolie and Reelz, i showed them to their rooms, then went back into dads office, he told me he wanted to see me so i walked in there , Uncle Spike and grandpa was already gone, it was just mom and dad in there now,

“Hey dad, im back, i showed them to their rooms, so whats up., why am i in trouble now?”

“Your not in trouble so watch your tone, remember what happened last time, i wanted you to come back in here to i can see if your okay, i know how rough it was to watch that man point that gun at your mother, we are not used to her being with us when we go on collections, but she will be coming with us for now on, So here's the thing, I'm going to be training her for now on, she has learned everything that your grandmother can show her, it's my turn to step in and start training her hard, if you want, you can join in on the training, we get up like we always do, at five am, and train for six hours, we will be training with weapons, and training to fight as well, we never know what's out there these days, those women are proof, So it's your choice on what you want to do, oh and heres your share, it's a little more than you're used to, but it's only fair since you saved your mothers life, im proud of you, you can head up and get some rest now i know your tired, i can see it in your eyes,” I nodded hugging them both then headed upstairs, i was tired, but i was feeling something really strange like a bad headache coming on, so I went into my room took a shower, dried off, then got dressed, i was brushing my hair while i looked into the full size mirror in the bathroom, then it happend, i heard a voice in my head, what the hell,

“Helly Kayla, my name is Mariah, i am your lycan, it's finally nice to meet you, don’t worry, we won't shift until your birthday, but for some reason, the moon goddess decided to wake me up early,” Was I hearing her right, she is awake now! Holy s**t i have my wolf, im thankful i won't shift until my birthday, i wanted that birthday gift for my self, I was looking into the mirror and i saw her eyes glowing they were a beauitful purple color, so beauitful,

“Well, are you going to say something, or are you just going to keep looking into the mirror at me?” I started laughing when she said that. She's a smart ass just like me. We are going to ge along great,

“Yes we will, i watched as you shot that guy between the eyes, he deserved it, he was trying to hurt your mother, im glad we got there just in time, Your wolf won’t wake up until your birthday, so you will shift into her first, and then you will shift into me, since you been training, it wont hurt that much. but if you have a mate, he can take most of the pain away,” I couldn’t help but laugh about that. I have a mate. I doubt i have one.

“I don’t think i have a mate. Most of the guys here either have girlfriends or are married, so either he's dead or across the country,”

“We will see once we are shifted my dear Kayla, but you need your rest, i can tell your tired, so lets sleep, tomorrow we train and since you have me, your strength will be double now, and will be able to heal faster,” nodding, i knew i was tired, so i decided to head to bed, but before that, i linked my parents,

“Hey mom, dad, i have something exciting to tell you, but it can wait in the morning, im tired, see you out in the training grounds, good night love yall,” i shut the link off then laid down, i was tired, i knew tomrrow was going to be all new for me,

Vegas pov

I didn’t think i was going to ever be saved out of this damn cage, for months now i have been fighting to be free, but i think this guy is keeping us so he could get more money, He says he owns the mafia money, is this guy crazy, the f*****g mafia, was it the human mafia or the super natural mafia, who the hell knows, i knew they took one girl down stairs, i knew what they were doing to her she ran her mouth so much they wanted to shut her up, that means breaking her down until she wouldnt say a word for now on, i was leaning against the cage, only the door had silver i found that out when i grabbed the bars to it, my skin started burning right away so i haven’t tried to touch it anymore. i knew my family wasnt worried about me since he killed them, they came looking for me and he greeted them with silver bullets right in the head, that son of a b***h, i wanted to snap his neck right off, i didn’t know what he done to the bodies, he probably just threw them out in the woods or something, I was thinking so hard that the other girls in the cage screamed making me come out of my thoughts, someone knocked down the f*****g door to the room, Then this man came inside i couldnt stop looking at him, my wolf was howling like crazy, mate, hes our mate, good goddess, a mate, s**t, the way i look i am surprised he wouldnt reject me, s**t, i would even reject me, he turned from looking at me to the girls that was crying, this pissed me off, i was a little jealous because he was looking at them,

“Will you three shut the f**k up your getting on my damn nerves, there not here to watch us fight. if you remeber we heard gun shots downstairs, so my guess they are here to get us out of here, so shut the f**k up or i’ll beat your ass.” I watched him smirk at me, then turned snapping the cage door off its hindges, He was about to grab our door but i stopped him, “Hey big guy, the keys are over there on the wall, you don't have to burn your hands to get us out.” he looked at the keys than back at the door, he decided he wanted is hands burnt he tore the cage door throwing it across the room, it hit the other cages making a loud banging noise, he told us about the girl being dead now since they came into the house blazing with their guns shooting all the guys, when we settled down we walked downstairs, where the jack ass was, he called us bitches and this sexy as mate of mine punched him right in the face, everything went down fast, someone shot him in the leg, and then the arm, he was ordered to get the money, so he got it while crying over his bullet wounds, he suddenly pulled out a gun shooting three of the girls, then he pointed it at a woman, the next thing i knew he was shot in the head falling on the ground with a loud thump, we where now in the house of this man, i was pretending so hard that i didnt feel the mate bond, that i forgot to say good night to him, but this young girl showed us to our rooms, i ran to the shower cut on the water and then got inside letting the water falling over my body, i washed my self three times, i just wanted to feel clean, thats all i wanted is to just feel clean, thats all, once i was done, i dried off placing a towel around my body, i didn’t want to wear the same ofl clothes, i guess ill sleep naked tonight, walking back into the room, i saw clothes that was laid on the dresser, it was a pair of night clothes and a pair of jeans and a tshirt with shoes that will actually fit on my feet, thank goddess clean clothes, i put the night clothes on and went to bed, i was so tired, that i just wanted to sleep on a soft bed inside of a hard cage floor, this is going to feel so nice,

“Mate, what about mate. Vegas?

“Mate is going to have to wait until we wake up, im exhusted, im sure if he wanted to see and talk to me he would be up here doing just that, but hes not, so lets get some sleep,” i closed my mind off to her, she would keep nagging me until i got up and go look for him,. but im not doing that right now, if he wants to speak with me he wiould come to me and talk to me, but right now, all i want to do is lay on this pillow and sleep, tomorrow is another day, lets see what it brings us shall we,
