Gabriela pov
Terry and I was the first to get back to my home that i grew up inn, we were still part of the mafia family, Terry sometimes goes with my brother when he needs extra help, Now i hear that Spike had found his second chance mate, Spike is like a brother to me, i almost killed that girl that hurt him but Spike stopped me, he told me that she wasn’t worth it, I wondered if this girl was, I was in the family dining room when Selena and Anna with their kids showed up, we were all here, the only ones that weren't was our parents, this was the first time we had dinner without them, but Isiah explained to us what had happened, well i was surprised that mom didn't kick dads ass for saying what he said, He did tell me that mom threw almost all his things out the door, i had to laugh about that, We sat down waiting for Spike and his mate to join us, I knew that poor girl was going to be a nervous wreck, I did tell Spike i wouldn’t scare her that bad, the rest of the group sat down as the cooks started bringing our food and drinks to the table, When they were done, Spike and his mate walked inside, we all felt how nervous she was, She had short red hair, and hazel eyes, she was wearing ripped jeans and a blue pull over shirt, her shoes didn’t look comforable at all, I knew her name was Vegas because Spike told us, So i just simply broke the ice,
“Hey Vegas, why not take those shoes off your feet, they don’t look comfortable at all,” I was trying to be nice to her, and i hope it worked, she looked relieved when i suggested that she took off her shoes, I looked at everyone and they nodded, they to took off their shoes to make her feel comfortable, We all felt how nervous she was, she hurried to take her shoes off putting them by the door, Spike pulled her chair out and waited for her to sit down, When everyone was seated,. Isiah spoke,
“Guys, i know it feels weird without mom and dad not being here, but we all know they need this, dad needs to get away and so does mom, I think we can have one family dinner together without them, So Ava, what did you have the cooks cook for us tonight?”
“Well, if you take a look under these tops, you will see the cooks cooked steak in shrimp, i don't know why they put these things on top of the plates, Your mother ever liked them either, she says it takes to much time to take them off when your hungry,” we all laughed at that, because it was true, mom didn't like things like this, she even tried to get the cooks from doing it, but they never stopped, so she finally gave up on it, after after one ate, we took turns asking Vegas questions, than talked about our parents. we laughed when i mentioned when mom told us how they met, and why she punched Goldie in the face, Because dad wanted to test her, so many memories we all had together, It was getting late we were all saying our byes before we left, Isiah came up to me,
“Hey sis, have you ever heard of the lycan king Lucas? He invited us to the castle in a few days, Kayla thinks he's a fake because the only king we ever knew was dad,” I thought about this for a few minutes, i’ve read books about kings but never heard of him, maybe he's a new king who knows,
“Well, i’ve read books about the old kings of lycans and werewolves, maybe hes a new king, Why does he want you to come to his castle?”
‘He’s been having rogue problems, i mean if he's a king how come he can't figure out how to get rid of them himself, where going to go, but we are taking our warriors and a few guards with us, with a few snippers, so if anyone tries anything, well you know what will happen.” i couldn’t help but smile, My twin was so much like dad, a little nicer, but he was so much like dad when i was a lot like mom, i knew he could handle anything that comes his way,
‘I want you to be careful when you go, i want you to mindlink me and tell me what's going on, and if you need me, you know i am only a mindlink away,” hugging my brother, i got into the car with my mate, he looked out the window saying,
“Hey Isiah, you know when you give her the heads up we will be there, just let us know,” he started the car and drove off, i almost hated leaving my old home, there was so many memories, i missed my parents, i was hoping i would had gotten to see them today, but i knew they needed this break, Well off we go, heading back home, I just hope my brother knows what he is doing,
Isiah pov
Dinner flew by i missed my siblings, the only thing that we were missing was mom and dad, they have been gone a full day and i already miss them., yeah i know i'm a grown man, but i still love my father and mother, they have taught us so much, i know we are a mafia family, but the thing that they had taught us the most was family, family always comes first, that's the reason why they have these dinners, to have a family dinner once or twice a month, sometimes it's once a week, we get together and talk about things that are going on with our lives, talk about the rogue problems and how we handle it, we talk about the collections that need to be collected, it goes on for hours, Now we have this new problem, He calls himself King Lucas, he has rogue problems and someone is taking money from his government, it's strange how things go. Looking at my mate, i knew she wouldn’t start showing until three weeks, I was worried about her going with us. Maybe i could talk her into staying home,
“Ava. we need to talk, i was just wondering if you would rather stay home instead of going with us,” I knew this was a long shot, but she was so much like my mother, mom had taught her everything she knew plus more, So maybe i already knew the answer but i needed to ask her anyways, i'm just worried that's all, i knew she knew i was worried, but she softly smiled at me, walked toward me until she was face to face with me, her hand touching the side of my face, i leaned toward her touch,
“I don’t think i will be staying here, waiting for you to come home to me, who knows how long you will be there, do you think i'm going to stay here waiting by the door while your having all the fun by yourself,” I couldn't help but chuckle at her, she loves the action as much as I do, pulling her close inhaling her scent, i told her how much i loved her, and did not want anything to happen to her or the pup,
‘Listen, if things go wrong, and tough if you think that it's too much, i want you to make your way home okay, i don't want anything to happen to you or the baby, promise me you will do that,”
“I promise Isiah, if it gets to tough or things go wrong, i promise i will make my way home,” I was happy with that, but something tells me she will stay and fight, that's how she was, my mother had taught her that way, she's the queen of mafia now. how in the world am i going to make her go home with things get out of hand, i could alpha command her, but I would never, she would never forgive me, I could always mindlink my dad, I waited until Ava went upstairs to pack, when i was sure she was up there, i mindlinked my father,
“Dad, can you talk, or are you and mom busy?” it took only a second for him to replay, He thought something was wrong, but nothing was wrong, not yet anyways,
“Yhea, I can talk. Is there anything wrong?’ i couldn’t help but smile, dad was always there for all of us, “No, there’s nothing wrong, Wel, i thought you could give me some advice on how to ask Ava to stay home when we leave to see this so called Lycan king, I don’t want anything to happen to her or the pup.” he chuckled in my head,
“Son, The only advice i can tell you is to let her go, Let her learn the hard way, I will never tell your mother what to do or how to do things, i learned my lesson, i almost lost her for the third time, and i will not lose her again, Let her go with you, she will decide if she wants to leave or stay, just be there for her, she's a badass Isiah, she was taught by the best, give her some credit okay, i have to go, we are in Paris right now about to eat dinner, if you need anything, just send me a link,” He cut the link off after that, i sighed, knowing he was right, fine, fine, alright fine, i won't stop her from going, but if anyone tries to hurt her, i don't care where we are at, i’ll kill them
