Anna pov

We decided to stop and eat while Luna was in the restaurant. We didn't know what was going on until we heard gunshots going off everywhere. and the whole place went up in smoke, I wondered what those people did to piss her off. Luna has a short temper and doesn't like attitudes much. This is just crazy. We were following them again, but only three car lengths away, we didn't want them to see that we were following them, making sure they were okay. not to mention we killed three rogues that was trying to mess with their car, this is just crazy, i knew guy kept saying that his mate needed his help but we calmed him down, telling him who ever his mate was, she would be okay, he must had seen her walk out because after he seen her he had calmed down, he can't do anything anyways until the mission is done,. we needed to just make sure she arrived there safely and then help out in any way we I wondered if Hawked would had asked his mate to do a portal all of us would had been there by now, but that would had been way too easy for us, we like doing things the hard way, I still wondered who Guy's mate is i think i know who it was, but i can't confirm it until she stops than looks at him. it's hard to say right now, but we'll definitely know when we get there.

It's been a few weeks now since we been here, i'm starting to miss home and thats all i am wanting to get back to, Lucas has been putting things off since he and Kayla marked each other, What pisses me off is that he didn't ask for my permission before he went to her and talked to her about it. but Kayla is twenty-two now, but it still doesn't mean I like it. Dad called me and told me that they would be here shortly, i told them about the fighting arena challenge, and he thought it was a good idea, nothing like a good challenge, right son. Dad was right. Maybe someone would challenge me. Because it's nothing like a good fight. And I love a good fight. Things have been slowing down a lot. I want to get this over with. I watched as Kayla went with this guy they call Vincent. Where are they going? I didn't have a clue, but I'm about to find out. I mind linked her asking here where she was going. She told me that she was having coffee with him to get some information about Barry.

“You just better make sure that you have your knives with you.”

“I do, dad. Even though I know you will. Don't worry. I got this.” I trusted her. I knew she could handle her own because we all trained her. But I still worry. Going inside, I wanted to spend some time with my mate, I found her in the library just sitting and reading a book. I loved how she was so into reading. She was so deep into it that she didn't even know I walked up behind her. Laying my hand gently on her shoulder. She jumped and grabbed me, flipping me over the table. I couldn't help but laugh when she ran over, helping me up off the floor.

“Oh my goddess, isiah, I'm so sorry, baby. I was just into the book. You just scared the s**t out of me.” I was laughing when I stood on my feet.

“Why are you laughing? l I could have hurt you?”

“But you didn't, honey. You did what you should do. I'm proud of you, honey. I came in here looking for you. Are you hungry? I asked the cook to fix us chicken soup and grilled cheese. Just in case you were,”

“Yeah, I actually am. Come on, let's go eat.” I couldn't help but chuckle. When it comes to food, when she's pregnant, she's all in. Walking into the kitchen, sitting down at the breakfast counter. The cooks brought us food.

Mercury pov

We rented a car from the parking lot. I wanted to get to this castle my son keeps talking about. I was starting to worry. He told me about this guy getting demons to work for him against my granddaughter. I knew how to fight demons. It's not so hard once you figure it out, Cheyenne was worried, too. She says she's not, but I can always tell when she is. She gets quiet and starts biting her fingernails. She's been doin this since we gotten into the car me, either she was talking to her lycan or wolf or both at the same time, she always does this, I was glad we got away from the pack even if it was for a few weeks. We needed this to get us back. And we did. I came to realize I needed to let go of being the mafia king. My son is the mafia king now. And I need to let that go. She told me she didn't mind me helping from time to time. Just not all the time it's our son's time now, and once he gets a son, it will be his turn when Isaiah steps down. But that will be a while. My thoughts were interrupted when Cheyenne spoke up.

“You know, if this guy is the lycan king, he's up s**t creek because there are people out there trying to take his throne. And if they have demons after Kayla, we're going to need to train her to fight back at them.” That's what I love about my mate. She always says the right thing at the right time.

“Honey, our son has taught her how to do that. Plus, her powers should be waking up soon. You know what the moon goddess had said. She has many, and she needs to train to use them before they take over her body.” She knew it was true. We finally got there to the castle. The guards came to the car asking who we were. When I told them, they hurried to open the gate. The next car pulled up. I knew who that was. It was Luna, and then I saw Anna and William what the h3ll is going on. And the last car was Spike, Hawk and Faith. Almost everyone was here. Damn, Lucas' car looked beat up. I'll have to ask her about it when we get settled in, but I was ready to get out of this car and get some rest, but first, i want to meet my granddaughters mate, the lycan king

King Lucas pov.

Kayla and I were actually enjoying time together. We were getting to know each other, and she told me she had coffee with Vincent. She told me what was said. I didn't really trust that guy. I knew he was in love with my mate. But I wouldn't admit it if his life depended on it. We were leaning close to each other, and our lips were about to touch. I've been wanting to kiss her for the longest time we were finally going to until I saw her eyes clouding over. Damn it! What now? When her eyes came back, she told me her family was here. With her hair in a messy bun. She screamed, Luna, she slammed into her, hugging her. That must be her sister. They hugged each other tightly. Then, let's go. She walked from one to the other, hugging them. Then, a tall man walked over to me.
