I knew my cousin was in a uproar about them coming here, he wanted everything right for when they did finally get here, he is so much like his mother, he wanted everything clean and ready to go, he was always nervous when someone came to the castle, he was always on edge when the elders came, they only wanted to come to tell him he needed a queen they would lecture him about it then they would leave, that's the only reason why he doesn't want a mate because he's being forced to have one, if they would just leave him alone, He would decide on a mate, he has looked for years trying to find his mate, he told me the other day, if he doesn't find her in three years he would choose a mate, goddess i honestly hope it wasn't Angie, she was power hungry, she has told most of the females here to leave the king along she was soon to be queen, Oh course Lucas would hear these lies that she has been saying, that reminds me i haven’t seen Angie around the castle lately, she must be plotting something to get the king to notice her, When he finally got the mindlink hes been waiting for, he turned to us letting us know they were finally here, i knew he wanted to rush out the door to greet them, but he took a few deep breaths then he headed toward the door, we stepped out on the porch of the castle, then stepped down a few steps, Sasha had flowers to give to the women, Even though she didn't have to do that, i thought it was nice of her to do so, she was the duchess, i was t he duke, of course she wanted to do something like this. We finally saw three black Suv's pulling up the driveway, they parked then got out, I first saw the man that got out, he was built and stocky, he was wearing all black, i guess that was the alpha, he nodded at us then walked over to the other side opening the door, out came a beautiful woman and then in the pack seat a door open, out came another beautiful woman, that looked just like the man and somewhat like his mate, i took a sniff, that woman was with pup, s**t, what is she doing here, then i heard a gasp, i looked over at Lucas, his eyes where huge he was sniffing the air, oh s**t, don't tell me that pregnant female was his mate, she already has a mate, the other Suvs stopped then parked, most were men but only one female came out of the car, she was part witch part wolf, i knew she wouldn't do any harm, i could smell it on her, I could tell lucas was holding his breath, but he needed to breath, i mindlinked him,
“Lucas, get it together man, we have guest, go and greet them like the king you are,” he nodded than began to breathe again, i could tell that things are going to be pretty weird from here on out, we walked down the stairs together to greet them, Sasha handed the women flowers,
“It's so nice to see that you finally made it here, I hope the drive was pleasant. and I hope you like the flowers for you?”
It was at some point. But we are finally here. Your home is so very
beautiful. Thank you for inviting us. I wish it was for different reasons. But maybe next time.”
“Indeed maybe next time. Why don't all of you come inside? I'm sure you want to sit and eat a home cooked meal instead of road food.” That's when Lucas finally found his voice he started talking right away.
“I'm sorry, I was letting the Duchess speak first. I'm King Lucas. Thank you for coming to our home. Like Sasha had said. Please come in and have a seat at our dining area. I'm sure you have got to be hungry. My name is King Lucas. It's a pleasure to finally meet you.”

We were finally here, and I was exhausted, I mean, the only thing I did was ride in the backseat, but it's still exhausting. I knew there were wolves running in the woods. It was time for target practice. But mom said no, they were trackers from the king. I rolled my eyes. Thinking that the only king is my grandfather Mercury Black. Yes, I know he told me he was the king of the mafia until he gave the title to my dad. But still. To me, my grandfather will always be the king. This guy is just a wannabe, that's all. We finally arrived at the gate am I saw the guys eyes cloud over and then opened them. We all nodded at them. I was surprised they didn't ask who we were and why we were here. That's a big mistake because we could be here to attack. I'll bring that up when we have this soon called meeting he wants us to attend. We drove up to the driveway, parked , and then got out. His castle was beautiful. He had the color just perfect. It was white with blue, trimming many windows with white curtains. I couldn't wait to get inside to look around, I was so excited about this. I was already walking up the steps when this sexy ass Jan stopped me from opening the door. Who the hell did he think he was.
“Excuse me, let me open my door for you,” oh s**t, was this the guy that calls himself King Lucas of the lycans? Yeah, OK, we will see about that. My grandfather is the only king, and i'll make that clear to him,
