Jasmine pov
i was in the file room looking through the files, something was off, i was looking through each one someone has been transferring money to different bank accounts, so why wasn't i included, still knowing me i would get caught, i needed to find the other files and then destroy them before the people that has been doing this gets caught,
“Hey what are you doing today, Tammy? i was thinking we could grab a coffee after we get off work. There's something i want to talk to you about.” I looked up at Barry, He was looking at the file that was in my hand, then back up at me, something tells me he was part of this operation,
“Well. Actually i'm done for the day, i was just filing these, i'll be out there in a few minutes,” He nodded looking what i had in my hand once more than leaving, Yeah he's going to be a big problem, I placed the few files i had in my briefcase so he thought i put them up, i don't need any trouble from the cancole, Walking out of the file room he was waiting right there for me. i was a little nervous, but other than that, i was alright, so i sucked it up and asked where we were going to go for coffee,
“There's a shop right down the block, they have elecent coffee, nodding we walked the few blocks to the coffee shop, it was like a ma and pa shop, very nice, we went inside to order our coffee i took a look around, they had a few tables and chairs so people can sit and talk or just drink their coffee, they even had items that we could buy if we wanted to.
“So, Jasmine you been working for the king for almost two hundred years, i think its about time you come to our side,” well that was fast, he didn't even beat around the bush about this, lets see what he had to say before i make up my mind,
Barry pov
i knew i needed to get those files out of that room before anyone found them, the woman that has been working there knew about almost everything that was in there, i was mindlinked by our boss letting me know to destroy them so no one would find out about them, there were a lot of people that have been transferring funds to different bank accounts to help this one person out. We didn't know their name or the companies name because they keep changing names, So when i walked into the file office i saw Jasmine standing there with a file in her hand, s**t i think that is one of them, she had a pile of folders to her right, i had to think of something really fast, So i asked her if she wanted to get coffee, she said she would like to and she would be out there in a few minutes, i mindlinked the boss telling them what had happened, they told me to get her on our side no matter what the cost, she does not need to find out what's going on unless she comes to our side, so i had to think of something fast, i wasn't sure what i was going to say, but i had to think of something fast, So i offered her a way in with us,
So, Tammy you been working for the king for almost two hundred years, i think its about time you come to be on our side, you will get part of the money each time we transfer funds, each time you cover for us we will transfer funds to you, what do you think about that, I knew she was thinking, she's going to ask lots of questions, i'm used to questions, but i'm not into babying someone that doesn't know what's going on, if she wasn't going to join us then i'm going to need to get into that place and get those files and destroy them, after a few minutes she answered me,
“So, where is the money coming from, and how do i get it, who are we taking the money from Barry, i'm not stupid, the money is coming from somewhere if your busy transferring it, and you want me to hide the fact that your taking it, and whoever else is doing it,” Well s**t she wanted to know where the money was coming from, does it mean she is going to join us? if i tell her and she runs out of here, i'm going to have to have to get the guys on her, and i don't think shes fast on her feet, we will see when we tell her who we are taking the money from, we plan on breaking him, once he's flat broke then we come in to offer him money, and how he will get the money if he weds my daughter, but i'm not going to tell her this, lets see how she handles what i'm about to tell her first, lets see how fast she will answer once i tell her we are taking the money from the king, i could tell by the way she is watching me that she wants to know right away, well here it goes the big test for her, i had my guys waiting just incase she tries to run,
“If you're really wanting to know, we are, i looked both ways making sure no one was listening then i told her in a low whispered, i bent over just a little so she would hear me, We are taking the money from the king, we have a plan, we plan on making him broke, and then have him beg for help, thats all im going to tell you, So are you in with us or are you against us?”
‘Can i have a few days to think about this, Or do i need to make the decision now, i don't want to make the wrong choice here, so i will need to think,. just give me a few days and ill give you my decision,” sighing i hope she makes the right one, because if she doesn't we are going to have to kill her, so i made the decision,
“You get two days to think, and i mean just two days, and today is the first day, tomorrow is the second the third day i want a answer, do not go to the king and tell him anything, because i will know, your being watched Jasmine, So don't try anything foolish,” she looked stunned with a little fear in her eyes, good, she needed to be scared, She needs to know im not playing around,
“Yeah, I understand, but you also need to remember Barry, ive been around this kingdom longer than you think i have, i've seen them come and i seen them go, ive seen them fight and die, and i also seen the weak and the sick die, Sweetheart, you just have no idea how long i've been here, i'll give you those two days so i can think on this, but do not ever threaten me, ill let you my answer soon,” i didn't like her cockyness at all. I watched her place her empty cup on the table, then she stood up putting her briefcase in her right hand, she always carries that ugly thing around with her, i wondred what kind of secrets she holds in that thing, maybe i will find out when i kill her,
“Remember Jasmine. two days and i will come for my answer,” she didnt say anything, she simply walked out flipped her hair to the side, just like the b***h she is, she was right, I really didn't know how long she has been in this kingdom, When i arrived, she was already here, maybe i should ask around about her, dig up some dirt so i could blackmail her, we will see,
