Barry pov
After I sent the email to the one demon that I knew that could do the job, I waited for his reply. I knew demons don't usually use emails; they respond in a totally different way, and sometimes its not in a good way. So if he doesn't want to do what i ask, It's going to hurt like h3ll, this demon has a name, His name is Brad, that's what i know him by, He has never told me his real name, I don't think i want to know, Sometimes if they tell you their real name, Your not seen again, I'm not sure when i will hear from him or if he would even show up,, if he doesn't i'll have to think of a totally different plan, many nights i set in the office wondering how i could take the throne away from Lucas, I could challenge him but he's stronger than I am, But does he know this, i could send a challenge to him for the throne then it might backfire, I could put one of the best fighting guards to challenge him but that might backfire as well., I had to meet Vincent at the coffee shop i had to figure out how to hide my appearance because i didn't need anyone to see me, better yet, I can watch him walk into the coffee shoppe, A few minutes later i was across the street waiting for him to get there, he drove up in his Black dodge, Once the car was off, i called him
Meet me across the street, Do not turn around just walk across the street into the barber shop, ask for a shave, i'll meet you in there,” I bet he thought this was all a set up, well it was i just wanted to make sure he wasn't being followed. He came into the barber shop asking the barber for a shave, he sat down in the chair waiting for the barber to do what he needed to do, but it was me that had the razor to his throat,
“I want you to listen to me carefully, I want you to join us, after the king is dead and i have his little mate to make my lycans for the lycan war, you will be paid greatly, I need you to be my spy in the castle, inform me on things i need to know, like if they know anything, what are they planning, are they planning on killing me and my daughter, i want to know everything,”
“Well i can tell you right now that Kayla is going to fight your daughter for the right to have her mate, Shes going to teach her a lesson not to f**k with other female men, they don't like that, you know its not the first time Angie has tried to take a guy from a female, it didn't turn out good the first time, if you remember she almost died the first time,
“Yes i know, its the reason why i gave Sasha the poison so she couldn't have children, it's my way of paying her back for trying to kill my daughter, i don't care if she deserved it or not she is my child, I shaved him then put a hot towel on his face, then let him up, we shook hands, if this son of a b***h betrays me, goddess help him because i will set fire on him so badly that no one will be able to tell who he is, I walked out of the barber shop than got into the car that drove up,
“Is he on our side, or what i don't want to waste time hoping he will help us,”
“Yeah, He's on our side right now, but we need to keep an eye on him. He can betray us at any given minute.
Vincent pov
When i sat in the barber chair I already knew what would happen Barry will be the guy shaving me, He wants me to a spy for him, He wants me to tell him every detail there is, but when I needed to do was get the h3ll out of here and make sure that no one will be able to find me, When i got back to the kingdom I saw Kayla, it was like she was waiting for me, I wondered what was up her sleeve, getting out of the car i had a planned to just walk passed her nodding at her than head inside, but she had other plans,
“So, what about that coffee you was wanting to have with me, i know the coffee shop around here its not that far, come on and lets chat a bit,” Now i knew she was up to something so I nodded at her,
“Sure, let's head there, we can walk from here, What do you want to talk about?”
“Nothing much, a bird told me that you went into town to go to the barber shop, that i don't understand since we have one here in the kingdom,” s**t she has someone watching me, i hope she didn't see Barry leaving out first but something tells me that they did she was just waiting for me to give her the answers, I knew i was falling in love with this girl, she was strong she knew how to talk to people she listens to them, she understands them, this female was different, but i wasn’t going to tell her anything that Barry told me or asked me to do, we sat down at the table i ordered a coffee black, she ordered a coffee with a double shot of espresso,
“So, tell me what dear Barry want from you. I knew you went there to meet him because you left in a rush, so what's going on, Vincent? What does he want from you?” s**t, i had to think of something really fast, something that is half true but not true if that makes any sense, i decided to give her the half truth, something that they probably already knew what he wanted.
“He wants the crown he wants to be king so he can start a lycan war, I don't agree to this I told him i didn't agree with this lycan war but he is determined to have it, He says Lucas isn't the right fit to be king, so he's going to take it away from him.”
“Not if i can help it, When the fighting at the arena starts in two weeks, i will end this if he tries to take me for this. He might have a huge surprise on his hands.”
“I didn't know what that meant, but i knew I saw in her eyes a very dangerous vision. this woman just might end this whole s**t in a heart beat, I just need to stay on her good side.
After our talk we went back to the castle, i told her i was heading home and thanks for the coffee, i knew i had a lot of stuff to figure out, i'm going to get some paperwork up and going, i'm going to leave it for her to find, then i'm going to disappear. i have a few people i need to get ahold of.
