Juriane glared at me for calling her a present, and I smiled at her. "Sorry." I apologised, and she shook her head before walking in.
"Can I go to her room?" Juriane asked, dropping her bag on the couch and I nod. I took off my shoes, walking behind Juriane as we headed for mom's room.
Juriane knocked lightly on the door before pushing it open, and mom turned on her side. Her face beamed with a huge smile as she saw Juriane.
"Oh my darling, you are here." Mom said in a low voice, while trying to sit up. Juriane rushed to her side, helping her up while she greeted mom.
"I heard you missed me, so I had to come say hi." Juriane responds and mom nods with a smile.
