“Are you going somewhere?”
After the morning of revelations, Jace took me and Baron to his house for lunch. Apparently, mom's kitchen was out of anything ‘healthy’ to cook. All I had was the food in the pantry and Jace wouldn't let me have more ramen and canned goods. I suggested food delivery as I wanted to stay in bed. However, Jace wouldn’t have any of it. He wanted me to go out and get my body moving. As he would always say, “Don’t be idle.”
Well, I thought he brought me to his kitchen to show off his kitchen and cooking skills,but all he made was veggie stir fry. How hard could that be? My participation was to cook the rice. How helpful, I know.
