I woke up the next day with no one by my side. My heart sank thinking Jace didn’t even bother to wake me up before he left.
Cherishing the scent he left on the bed, I lingered a bit more and reminisced our kiss in the pool. I internally screamed and smashed my face against the pillow, remembering how it felt so good that I wanted it to happen again and again.
Taking the pillow off me, I then understood why Jace’s scent was all I could smell. He left his shirt and put the pillow in it to act as a pillow case. The act put a big smile on my face.
I went out of the guest room and got ready for the day.
