MADE FOR HER ALPHA BROTHER.
Chapter 3.
Authors pov.
Later in the evening.
Since Sophie arrived, Lisa has been around to keep her company, talk and chat about things they have been missing out on.
"I love you, Sophie... Heavens, any girl would do anything to hear him say that to her" Lisa chattered reflecting back on the word Sophie and Sabestian had.
"That is normal between siblings, Lisa. We love each other as siblings and we don't hide it" Sophie replied with an eye roll, settling down to sit on the bed in her room.
Not a thing had changed in her room but it was sparkling clean.
"I know" Lisa sighed softly.
"He does not have his mate yet. How I wish I could be his mate" she wished.
"If you were his mate, the both of you would have figured that out by now" Sophie pointed out.
"That's right " she replied in a sad tone.
Sophie made to say a word but the loud beeping of her words interrupted her.
She picked the phone up from the side of her bed and her face stretched out into a smile as she saw the caller, it was Tommy. Her boyfriend.
"Who is it?" Lisa questioned, noticing Sophie's pleased expression.
"Tommy" she giggled and picked up the call.
"Hey babe" his soothing voice greeted her ears as soon as she picked the call.
"Hi, Tommy"
"I have been trying to call you all day."
"I was just a little bit busy" Sophie replied, taking her gaze to her thighs.
"I was just worried that something might have happened. I am glad you are fine. I really can't wait for you to come back to the pack"
Sophie felt her heart gladden and flip at the same time.
"I can't wait to see you too, Tommy, and trust me, we will see soon enough " she replied to him with a cozy smile and before he would start asking her what she meant by that, she kissed him goodbye and ended the call.
"I will go and visit Tommy tomorrow morning." she decided, staring back at Lisa.
"You should go and see your uncle before going anywhere else" Lisa advised.
"No. Uncle does not like me anyways so I am sure he will feel better if I do not appear in front of him early in the morning. I will see Tommy first and go see him later. " she replied and Lisa sighed.
"hmm... Sounds good enough. You also don't like your uncle"
"Yes, till today, I still feel he had something to do with my parent's death," she sighed softly.
"Do you still, have the nightmares? " Lisa asked and Sophie nodded, her mind wandering off to the nightmare she usually has.
In the nightmare, she would always see her parents telling her and Sebastian bye and assuring them of a victorious return.
Sophie's parents died in a war, however, Sophie has refused to believe that.
She would always hear them screaming and she would see their bodies, bloodied and battered as they had been when they were brought back from the battlefield.
Sophie refused to believe that both her parents were tragically killed in the war. However, she doesn't know what fueled her belief to constantly think that they were killed by someone close to them on the battlefield, someone that could have been my uncle.
Anyways, the images of their dead bodies haunt her every night.
"I asked a question, Sophie " Lisa snapped her fingers jolting Sophie out of her thoughts.
"I still have the nightmares but I will be fine"
Lisa nodded her head and they both continue to giggle and chat about a few other things till night.
*****************
Sebastian walked Into his uncle’s room, after ignoring the greetings that came from every single guard. Although he was yet to be the Alpha, a lot of guards respected him even more.
His face was a combination of stern and cold, the normal dose that they were used to since he lost his parent.
He had lost his parents before having his wolf side so his uncle had taken over the position of the Alpha and he was hesitant to leave the position that rightfully belongs to Sebastian.
"Sebastian" he grinned the moment he felt Sabestian’s presence, turning away from his open window.
"Uncle" he gave a slight bow.
He had never acknowledged his uncle as the Alpha when they were in private.
"You are here so late at night, what is the issue?" He asked. Sabeatian's face was still a combination of coldness and sternness.
"There is only one issue and you already know what it is, Uncle"
The not-so-old man sighed and rolled his eyes inwardly.
"Sebastian, you are still young. You should spend a few more years gathering wisdom before you take your position and.... "
"And I think I have acquired more than enough wisdom " he cut him off and walked a few steps closer to him.
Being closer to him only signified a lot of thing, and it meant that Sabestian was taller than he was and more built than he was.
He raised his head up slightly, looking directly at Sebastian and trying to reduce the effect of the imposing stance he had on him.
"If my father had died when I was 18, I would have taken over as the rightful Alpha. Him being killed two years earlier is what held me back. I am 26 now, I have gathered more than enough wisdom. This pack belongs to me and I want it" his tone and voice were calm, yet his voice had the deadly undertone his uncle understood clearly, and he was growing angry, but he suppressed it with a smile, a fake forced smile.
"Very soon, Sebastian, very soon" he reached out his hand to pat his shoulders but Sebastian took a step forwards, stopping him from carrying his act.
"I want what is mine, not very soon but in two months. If I am not being called what I should have been called, I will have to do things in a way you will not find cool."
"Sebastian!!" his eyes widened with a glare.
"Are you threatening me right now?" he questioned.
"If that is what you love to call it, Uncle. I have been patient enough. Two months more is just as far as I can go. Let go of the position that belongs to me" he stated firmly, taking a few steps away from him to reduce his imposing stance.
"I hope that in two months' time, I do not have to do the bowing,” he added and walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him.
Sabestiam knew for sure that his uncle would be a little bit surprised but he was also sure that his uncle saw this coming already. he was no longer that 16-year-old boy who just lost his parents and trusted his uncle to hold the position of the Alpha for him until he had shifted and was strong enough.
He stopped down the hallway and looked back, towards his uncle's room, with correct instincts his uncle was quietly standing by the door, watching Sebastian as he walk away.
He turned away from his gaze without a word and walked off.
Sabestian knew on thing was sure, his Uncle was not going to willingly give up the Alpha position in two months or even two years but sabestian knew better than to sleep and watch him being ruled.
