Chapter 7 Bright dots danced at the corner of my eyes. It was time to pull away from the computer and eat something. Earlier, I’d taken a short power nap, but my very critical inner voice had ordered me to not waste this evening. So I’d brewed some coffee and settled down for a writing marathon. Time and again, I’d found myself staring at the screen, my fingers quiet on the keyboard, lost in my thoughts. I hadn’t written anything worthy. I was stuck. My main character had decided to give me the silent treatment. Served me right. I deserved this sudden blank—I’d treated Vassilios badly.
