Balls to the Wall THERE WASN’T ANY ALCOHOL at the party, which was fine by Kat. Drinking with co-workers wasn’t exactly her idea of a good time. Especially when seventy percent of those co-workers were high school kids. In truth, there was one guy she wouldn’t mind drinking with. Edson took this fast food job to help pay for grad school, just like Kat. They’d been hired during the same group interview, where their manager kept asking if they were brother and sister. Like, hello! Edson’s family was Korean and Kat’s was Japanese, plus they had totally different last names. They didn’t even look alike, apart from being Asian. In some people’s minds, that was enough, apparently. At the moment, there were half a dozen fourteen-year-old girls hanging off Edson like chimps at the zoo.
