A girl is sleeping on her bed peacefully without giving any thoughts to the world.
She is smiling and licking her lips occasionally in her sleep. And why not? After all she is dreaming about pani puri, her one of the loves.
Pani puri is a type of snack that originated in the Indian subcontinent.
It consists of a round or ball-shaped, hollow puri (a deep-fried crisp crepe), filled with a mixture of flavored water (known as imli pani), tamarind chutney, chili, chaat masala, potato, onion or chickpeas.
Another girl of her age came into her room and shook her head at her friend. She is well aware of her craziness about food.
"she is definitely dreaming about food." they girl muttered while smiling
"Ms. Foodie wake up it's 9 am already." that girl said to Ms. Foodie
"Moti! Sone de aj Sunday hai, (fatty let me sleep today is Sunday) " Ms. Foodie muttered in her sleep in an annoyed voice
Her friend is disturbing her sweet sleep.
"Ms. Foodie tu kya Kumbhkaran ke khandan se hai? Sirf khana Aur sona pasand hai? ({in Ramayana we find Kumbhkaran a demon and Ravan's brother who sleep for straight 6 months then stay awake for straight 6 months} Ms. Foodie do you belong to kumbhkaran's family? Only like to eat and sleep? "her friend asked
" f**k off Moti, "Ms. Foodie said and her friend smirked
She goes into the kitchen and brings breakfast inside. It's Chole puri, another favourite delicacy of Ms. Foodie. On that note, she loves every kind of edible food.
Her friend held it in front of her.
Ms. Foodie inhaled the delicious aroma of the food and got up immediately.
Her eyes are still closed but she sat up in a sitting position.
"Chole puri?" she asked making her friend smirk
Chole Puri is the popular North Indian Breakfast Dish, which can be served as a fulfilled meal in lunch or dinner. Some people enjoy it as a Snack Dish as well. Chole / Chickpea or Garbanzo beans is a versatile legume, and it’s seeds are high in protein. I like the combo of Chole and Puri. Here Chole or Chana are simply made in the tasty gravy of onion and tomatoes and then served with hot and fluffy puri.
"yup," her friend replied
Ms. Foodie opened her eyes to meet with the site of her love.
"my love I'm coming just wait for some minutes," Ms. Foodie said and ran towards the washroom
Her friend started to laugh on her antics.
"I'm going outside come once you're done," she said and left
Ms. Foodie washed her face and brushed her teeths after attending nature's call.
Once done she went outside with a bright smile but it faded when she saw her friend devouring her love with a smile.
" what the hell Reyna? Why did you eat my Chole puri?" she asked Reyna aka Moti her friend
"Adira babe I didn't say once that it's your food. Now go and fry puri by yourself. Chole is served in a bowl. You love sizzling hot food right? You will get it if you fry them." Reyna said
"Moti you're so gone," Adira said and go inside
(Adira is Ms. Foodie and it's her nickname given by Reyna. And Adira calls Reyna Moti to tease her. Reyna isn't fat or something but it's a nickname)
She made puri's by herself and came back to sit down with Reyna.
Reyna has a pissed off look on her face but Adira didn't notice it.
"umm! It's so tasty, the most delicious one I ever had." Adira moaned while tasting it
It's her habit to praise every food like it's the best item she ever had.
"will you stop it and let me eat?" Reyna asked her annoyed
"What crawls up on your butt b***h?" Adira asked
"nothing," Reyna said and started to eat
"really?" Adira enquire further
Reyna sighed at her and looked at her.
"Nothing is right Adira, that fucker karan is stalking me, I told him many times that I don't love him, hell I don't even like him in that way but he isn't ready to listen. He is threatening me by using different numbers to call and text me. He again texted me that I'm his and he will get Me. "Reyna finally told
Adira was looking at her silently and she stopped eating as well.
" and you didn't bother to tell me this? What I'm to you? Do you even consider me as your friend or not? "Adira asked her calmly
Her normally bubbly and happy tone vanished.
" oh yeah why will you tell me who I'm to you? We just know each other from a not so long time. "Adira said
" Adira yar please don't be angry, I didn't tell you because I didn't want to tense you that's why. You're like my sister yar if you meant nothing to me then we would not be sharing an apartment together. And even our names also connected. I'm the dark night and you're the bright moon. Both are useless without each other. "Reyna said
(Reyna means night and Adira means moon)
" Reyna, you're my only loved one left. I don't have anyone else in my life. I don't want to lose you and don't worry I will kick that mother fucker's ass. "Adira said
" I know babe you're also my only loved one now after my so called family disowned me, and you won't lose me I promise you. "Reyna said
Reyna is from patna, Bihar she belonged to a middle class family. Her parents wanted her to marry an old divorcee who had two kids already only because of money and when she denied they disowned her.
Then she came to Delhi as one of her friends stayed here. She found a job and luckily got it.
She started to stay in a girls PG where she met Adira who came one year later there to stay. Adira is an orphan who has no one in her life. She was doing a waitress job that time but soon she found a good job.
They both clicked together well and became best friends.
After staying there for 6 months they both took a 2BHK apartment in rent.
And now they are staying here for about 1 year.
"and soon you will find your Prince charming who will be your family. Who can resist this beautiful face huh? " Reyna said to change the topic
"yeah yeah in your dreams and yes you said the truth who can resist this beautiful face. That's the problem Reyna everyone is attracted to the face and body not heart and soul. So I'm better single only " Adira said
"hmm true, anyways let's go outside after eating. We will watch a movie then go for a little shopping and will eat Chats and ice cream. What's to say?" Reyna asked
"will you pay for food and film?" Adira asked
"Yes I will it's my treat," Reyna said
"done then let me finish my food first then I will get ready." Adira said and started to stuff her face with more food.
