Her hurried steps echoed around the hallway as she threads her way to the throne room. She glanced at Magnus and smiled. It was unexpected that her parents shall call for her this day. She was about to go to the training ground when a servant told her that she is being summoned by her father.
“I think they have decided for my Ascension, Magnus.” She is so close to jumping. “A week ago, uncle has mentioned the Ascension of his men and mayhap my parents have finally decided for my own. I have a strong feeling about this.”
Her excitement was not met by Magnus. He remained stoned-face and looking straight. She ignored him. He’s not going to affect her good mood today.
