Eleana curled herself, hugging her legs as she stares blankly at the wall across the bed. She was exhausted but she cannot sleep. No matter how hard she tries, she cannot make herself at ease and drift to slumber. It is as if even resting is being deprived of her by the gods. She shouldn't have felt this way—always blaming them for whatever ill-fortune she is having. Trusting them and keeping her faith intact should have been sufficient to understand the situation.
