A week went by and after that day Ellie pretty much ignored Jason, only talking to him when absolutely necessary.
Jason thought he’d be fine with this new arrangement of Ellie not bugging him to play board games or pestering him to take her out or following him around wherever he went, he thought this would be for the best, this was after all exactly what he wanted in the start but that wasn’t the case now seeing as he missed her presence around him all blabbering about one thing or the other unlike now when he wouldn’t hear her voice for the whole day if she could help it and she never passed him one of her toothy smiles anymore either and she would mostly just stay in the room.
