Chapter 17 : Big sacrifice

  The tensity began to spread the entire residential area near the port, where Kriss and his friends were located. Currently their existence is being hunted by fully armed mercenary soldiers led by Adnan, the soldiers are divided into several teams and walk scattered looking for Kriss and friends in all directions. While on the other hand, Kriss and his friends are currently walking together, they are walking very carefully and wary of their surroundings, so that their presence cannot be easily detected by the enemy.

 Kriss and his friends will go to Anton's fishing ship which is at the dock, then they will sail to Jiro Island. But at this time, they must be able to survive first, and get out of this port area alive.

 Unfortunately, Adnan will not let that happen, he will try his best to be able to catch and hunt Kriss and his friends, because they are all thorns that are very disturbing to Jiro and Adnan's plans, therefore they must be able to immediately take care of that. and that was always on Adnan's mind.

 The night was getting late, Anton very carefully led Kriss and his friends through the house after house that was there. But in an instant, things turned chaotic, when one of Adnan's men managed to see the figure of Kriss and his friends sneaking around in the silence of the night. So without further ado, he immediately fired a bullet at Kriss, but missed, and that shot was what became the opening for the shootout that immediately took place there.

 Of course Lisa, Beni, Kriss, and Anton immediately returned fire at their hunters, who appeared and positioned themselves in all directions, so that Kriss and his friends seemed to be surrounded. However, because the resistance given by Kriss and his friends was very violent, the enemies became very overwhelmed to get close to their targets.

 Kriss and his friends took shelter in a makeshift place, behind a pile of wooden boxes, a pile of sacks, and a wall of residents' houses, they had a little trouble being able to move because their presence was constantly being hit by bullets from various directions, because of that, now Kriss's steps and his friends had to stop there and couldn't go anywhere else, so the ship they were going to use seemed to have wait for a long time.

 In the midst of the shootout, apparently Romi did not remain silent, he continued to pay attention to the figures of the shooters who apparently used some kind of communication device in their ears, which made their position well coordinated, so that the group led by Adnan could continue give dangerous attacks against Kriss and friends, even to the point of making it difficult for them to go anywhere, because their place of refuge is currently being continuously bombarded by bullets.

 Romi also kept staring at his tablet screen while operating a frequency transmitter program, which would interfere with the frequency signal from the communication device in each enemy's ear. Romi is trying to take advantage of the communication tools used by the enemies, to attack these enemies, so that maybe the situation can turn around.

 A few moments later, after Romi's preparations had been completed, Romi immediately shouted to tell his friends.

 "Hey !! Get ready! "

 "Ready for what ?!" Shouted Beni.

 "Get ready to run and go crazy." Said Romi while pressing a button on his tablet screen.

 Then immediately, all the shooting from the enemy suddenly stopped, because they all felt pain in their respective ears, which was caused by their means of communication, their ears surprisingly heard a buzzing sound that was so painful that they all grimaced at once. They feel pain while holding each other's ears.

 And at that moment, Kriss immediately ordered his friends to run while shooting at the enemy who was in a still position. Then one by one the enemy troops finally managed to be shot and taken down by the attacks of Kriss and his friends, which their shot was quickly and precisely. This made Adnan get shocked and had to witness many of his men falling there, so suddenly Adnan said.

 "s**t !!!"

 Anton moves bravely in the very front position, he faces the enemies and paves the way for his other friends so that they can all quickly reach their destination, while Beni and Lisa are tasked with taken down the enemy from the right and the left, Kriss shoots the enemies that appear randomly, whose position is not recognized by his other friends, while Romi is busy protecting his big bag while continuing to run near Kriss.

 A few moments later, the enemies, who wanted to finish their mission very soon, began to use a more dangerous weapon, namely a machine gun that can launch multiple bullets at once in one shot. This forced Kriss and his friends to hide again behind the walls around them, so they could get protection from machine gun bullets.

 Things became very difficult for Kriss and his friends, because now they did not have the opportunity to be able to return fire at all, while the distance between them and the dock was actually very close, only a little longer they could arrive, but because of their situation now being almost hit by enemy bullets, it causes them to be trapped there.

 Kriss peeked from a small hole to see and count the number of enemies, while occasionally surprised because near the hole where he peeked there were always bullets striking. Then after Kriss finished identifying, he immediately told his friends.

 “There are 7 of them, all of them using machine guns. And it looks like they all also removed the communication tools that were in their ears, so we won't be able to use that method anymore… Do you guys have any other ideas? ” Asked Kriss.

 Then, Beni immediately looked around, he tried to find something that could be useful to get them out of the dangerous situation. Then Beni suddenly got the idea after he saw a 3 kg gas cylinder lying nearby, so after holding the gas cylinder, Beni immediately looked at Kriss while giving an eye signal that only Kriss could understand.

 After seeing Beni, Kriss seemed to understand what Beni wanted to do, especially after he saw Beni's hand that was holding a 3 kg gas cylinder, then immediately, Kriss reloaded the bullet in his gun and he began to take a position to aim at the enemy. After that, Beni, who saw Kriss was ready, immediately stood up while circling on the spot, he did that to take a swing so Beni could throw the gas cylinder in his hand far towards the enemy.

 After he felt that the swing was enough, Beni immediately threw the gas cylinder upwards, so that the gas cylinder immediately fly in the air. The enemies who saw the gas canister flying towards them, suddenly stopped the gunfire and just gawked while looking up, while some of them started to running away. Then when the gas cylinder was about to land near the enemies, Kriss, who was already prepared with his gun, immediately shot a bullet at the gas cylinder, so that made the gas cylinder exploded violently and destroyed everything near it. while reducing the number of enemies who were shooting at Kriss and his friends.

 So as soon as the explosion occurred, Kriss and friends continued to run towards the dock again, but unfortunately there were still 3 enemies who survived, and immediately shot them from behind, so Kriss, Lisa, and Romi were forced to take cover again because the road was leading to the dock was empty so there was nowhere to protect them from gunfire. But fortunately Beni and Anton had made it through the road so that they were now at the dock and could continue the steps to get to Anton's ship.

 Kriss yells at Beni and Anton. “You go ahead! We will take care of them! " Said Kriss.

 Then Lisa and Kriss immediately gave fire to the enemies, so they could not chase or shoot at Beni and Anton, who had run very far on the dock to the ship.

 "Hi Beni."

 But suddenly, Beni and Anton's steps had to stop, because Adnan was already in front of them pointing his gun, so Beni immediately pointed his gun at Adnan, but Adnan quickly shot the gun in Beni's hand so that gun fell. Then Anton immediately aimed his gun at Adnan, and he tried to shoot Adnan, so that the road to his ship was not blocked.

 But apparently the bullets in Anton's gun had run out, so he couldn't shoot Adnan at all. So because of that, Beni and Anton began to gasp and they realized that at this time they were both in a very dangerous situation, where they were standing unarmed, while in front of them there was an enemy who was pointing his gun right at them both, so there was no more chance they could do anything, beside than just raise their hands.

 Meanwhile, Lisa, Kriss, and Romi are still facing enemies behind, so the chances of them coming to help are nul. Adnan, who did not want to waste time, begin to spoke a little before starting to next act.

 "You shouldn't have come all the way here ... Just stay in your house and then we will take care of you one by one, but instead of it, you chose the hard way to die. Okay then, I'll say goodbye to you Beni. You're the first! " Adnan said that while firing a bullet at Beni.

 Immediately, Beni closed his eyes when he was about to receive a bullet that was flying into his body, but something surprising happened, suddenly when Beni opened his eyes again, he found that Anton was standing right in front of him to receive the bullet, so that who was shot was not Beni but Anton.

 Anton is willing to sacrifice his life for the sake of the man who have greatly contributed to his life, for him this is the right thing to do at this time, so that Beni can be saved from death. Then without further ado, Adnan landed several bullets on Anton's body, who was still protecting Beni.

 So at once Beni shouted, "Noooooo !!!"

 Then Beni immediately hugged Anton's body, which was covered in blood, and he continued to hug Anton's body, even when Anton's body began to limp and then fell down, Beni still held Anton's body very tightly.

 While Adnan still hasn't stopped trying to kill the two of them, he will immediately shoot another bullet at Beni. But fortunately a shot was fired at Adnan, causing Adnan to be shocked because he was almost shot. Apparently the shot came from Kriss who was running towards him, he and Romi and Lisa just got there after they managed to clean up all of Adnan's remaining men.

 Seeing this, Adnan immediately turned and fled from the place, so that he could survive Kriss and Beni's rage. Then Kriss, who had just arrived near Beni, immediately felt angry and disappointed, when he saw Anton, who was already covered in blood in Beni's arms. Likewise with Romi and Lisa, they both immediately felt shocked and weak when they saw Anton's condition, even Romi's face instantly looked pale.

 While in Beni's arms, Anton, who looked very weak, began to speak while handing Beni a key. “Mi- Mister Beni, this is the key of my ship. Thank you for everything ... I- i wish you all good luck. " Said Anton, with blood continuously coming out of his mouth.
