Gamma Finn's words rang in her head as she watched Jeff jingle the toy for Ian and Alabama. Hev was on her laps watching the jingle show.
Jeff sounded true to her. He was always around whenever she needed him. He taught her a lot about her wolf, he unlocked many potentials she didn't know she had. Above all, his friendship was genuine. Her pups adored him.
There was no sign from Ray he was the bad guy. But what if he did something to Ray? what if he had a way of silencing Ray from warning her?
How could she stop him from coming around? How was she ever going to run the Pack without his help?
What really was his motive hanging around her, her pups? Was a confrontation safe at this point?
