Monica Hamilton had spent a few days in bed recovering. She had tried to get out of bed, to move a few times but Jeff insisted she stayed in bed and hollered to him or any one else if she needed anything.
It felt comfortable to her, she wasn't used to staying in bed all day. She enjoyed the attention and pampering. Jeff had played some audio tapes and music. They both had the same taste in music, he had given her some fiction to read, then she had her meals in bed and Dr. Nicole had stopped by everyday to take her temperature and also administer some medication.
She was begging to be out of the sheets, feeling she would lose her mind if she had to stay in bed another day. She was looking forward to going out into the refreshing air and a quick swim at the lake.
