Alpha Gabriel’s POV
I take a second to collect myself before I lift my head to look down at her beautiful face beneath me. I can’t help but smile so f*****g much that I’m sure I must look like a deranged psychopath right about now. Before I can attempt to rein myself in, she lets out a light laugh, lifting her delicate fingers to rest on my face.
I feel on top of the f*****g world right now. Like I could take on anything with this woman… this amazing woman by my side. As soon as I lost myself in her, the troubles of the evening faded away into the abyss. They aren’t gone forever. I’m sure they will rear their ugly head once again, but not a single worry crossed my mind when I was in her arms. It’s hard to think of a time when I’ve felt so… carefree.
