I stand in the garden at Noah’s house, the BBQ turning out to be the disaster I assume Livvy had been expecting. Maybe she had been right in her fears and should have stuck to her gut instinct and stayed away. Her Mum and Dad were shocking. How do they treat their little girl like that? The way they spoke down to her was intolerable. There was no reason for it, and the things I knew about Livvy from the time I had known her and knowing her from the way Noah has always described her, she was a great girl.
