I saw the look on Gio’s face as the phone vibrated, he had to have seen the message. My heart had sunk. A darkness had passed over his face. I knew that indicated the message was from Theo once again. Despite the fact I was waiting for Summer to reply. That look said it all and when his eyes raised to meet mine, I was unsure of the look within them.
