First day of work (Part 2)

Calista POV
Charlotte had been in her best behavior for the rest of the day. I told her that we need to keep quiet as to not disturb her Uncle Ron. And that she has to help take care of her uncle.
When Charlotte was having her lunch, I went back to Aaron’s room to feed him, too. It’s still soup, but Sherie added some salted crackers and banana. She also made some lemonade with honey, with Charlotte’s help. Then, I got him his medicine, too.
“Aaron. It’s lunch time.” I placed the tray again on his bedside table. When I sat on his bed, I saw him sweating.
His fever’s breaking.
I got up and went inside his huge walk-in closet. I opened his drawers one by one, until finally, I saw what I had been looking for. Face and hand towels! I have to give him a bed bath, and he has to change clothes, too. I got a basin downstairs and placed warm water from the bathroom.
“Aaron. I’ll wipe your face okay?” He just grunted, while he keeps his eyes closed.
I dipped the face towel on the warm water then wiped his face with it carefully. From his face, I moved down to his neck.
“Aaron, I have to get your shirt off.” Then that was what I did, with a little help from my patient. I could not help but ogle at his muscled arms, chest, and abs. I shook my head to stop me from ogling at him again. I gently wiped his arms, his chest, then down to his abs.
OH, f**k! I’m touching his abs over the hand towel! How I wish to touch him with my bare hands!
I slightly pushed him to move to his side to wipe also his muscled back.
Oh, help me from my sinful thoughts!
When I shifted him to lie again on his back, I was shocked to find a tent in his boxers.
Act like it’s natural to see erected d***s every now and then.
I don’t think I can clean him up at that area, so I skipped that part and went to wipe his thighs down to his feet.
I got him a new shirt to wear and that had him open up his eyes.
“Are you feeling any better now?”
“Yeah. Thanks.”
“It’s lunchtime. I’ll help you up.”
The same routine. I fed him his soup, but this time the soup is cool enough for him to eat. He had finished everything including the crackers and banana. Like earlier, he held my hand while he drank the lemonade.
“How’s Charlotte? It’s quiet.” He asked while holding my hand.
“She’s very behaved. She actually helped making the lemonade.” I smiled at the memory of her trying to squeeze the lemonade. “I told her that we have to be quiet, so you will have a good rest. So far, she’s been on her best behavior. Your mom will see you before she goes home. They’re eating lunch now.”
“Damn, Calista. You should be eating with them now. Go! I’ll sleep again.”
“Take your medicine first, then I’ll go.”
He took them without saying anything. I made sure he’s comfortable before leaving him.
“How is he?” Sherie asked as I got back in the kitchen.
“His fever broke. So, I gave him a bed bath before giving him lunch. He is feeling a lot better now.”
“That’s good. I’ll check on him now. Charlotte is still not done eating. Could you watch her, darling? You better eat your lunch, too. It’s getting cold.”
“Thank you for the lunch, Sherie.”
“No worries.” She said before she went to check on her son.
Charlotte was already napping and I don’t have anything else to do. I was on my way down the stairs to see what Sherie was doing, when I saw her going up.
“I’m going to take a nap, too. I think I have followed Charlotte’s schedule on her nap time. I’ll just be in the room beside hers, if you need anything. Or you can find the cleaning lady downstairs if you need any help.” She proceeded inside a room, while I stood there thinking of what to do next.
I’ll just check on Aaron again.
I went down to the kitchen to get him a glass of water. Better to be sure that he has enough water by his bedside.
True enough, he has finished all the water I brought him earlier. I put the glass of water on the bedside table and was about to turn to leave, when a hand grabbed my wrist.
“Stay with me for a while.” Aaron said while his eyes were softly blinking.
“Uhm. Okay.” I sat beside him and watched him fall asleep again.
But suddenly, he tugged my arm, making me fall on top of him. He rolled me over on the other side of the bed. My back to his front. Then he hugged me from behind.
It all happened so fast that I was not able to react. I tried to move, but every time I do, his hold on me tightens.
“Stay. Please.” I could feel his hot breath on the back of my neck. And I could feel goosebumps rising throughout my body.
I sighed before saying, “Fine. I’ll stay.”
I can’t believe I’m with Aaron in his bed!
After a minute, I could feel his steady breathing. That’s when I relaxed and took a nap myself.
After an hour, I woke up with Aaron still hugging me. However, he was so deep into his sleep that I easily disentangled myself from his embrace.
I checked on Charlotte, who was still napping. I went back to the kitchen to fix her a snack. And that was when I saw the cleaning lady.
“Hi! I’m Cali, Charlotte’s baby-sitter.” I smiled while introducing myself.
“Elvie.” She smiled back as we shook hands. After that we parted ways.
I made some choco-banana muffins to Sherie’s delight. She and Charlotte went down at the same time.
“This is yummy, Cali. I like this one tomorrow again.”
“Sure, baby.”
There were still some muffins left anyway. I will just store them.
I’ll give one to Aaron when he gets well. Maybe he has more appetite for dinner. I’ll bring one up later.
After our finishing our snack, Sherie started on cooking dinner. I would have wanted to help her, but Charlotte insisted to play. I might as well give in to her because she had been cooped up inside the house the whole day. She needs to release her energy. And so, we played in her play room. And at last, Sherie has to go home.
“Calista, darling, can I ask you a favor?”
“Sure, Sherie.”
“I know you have to go home by seven. But after that, I don’t know if Aaron can go around and take care of Charlotte. Could you stay for the night? I’m sure Aaron will pay you for the extra hours.”
“Oh. Right. I haven’t thought of that. No problem, Sherie. I’ll just give my parents a call.”
“Why don’t you call now? I’ll talk to them if I have to.”
“Um, okay.” Of course, my parents will not have any problem with me spending the night. I am sure they would want that over me going home at the middle of the night. I got my phone from my pocket and called Mom first.
When I have already talked to Mom and Dad, Sherie sighed in relief.
“Relax, Sherie. I’m of legal age. My parents can’t keep me from work.”
“Thank you, darling. I’ll check on Aaron one last time before I go.”
And then it was only me and Charlotte. The multi-tasking starts. I don’t know how I would feed Aaron, when I don’t have anyone watching Charlotte. May be I’ll just bring Charlotte with me when I check on her uncle.
Anyway, dinner is baked macaroni. Charlotte liked it, so I didn’t have trouble getting her to eat. I liked it, too. I’m surprised that Sherie could be so regal, then be domesticated at the same time.
I ate fast, so I could prepare Aaron’s food while Charlotte is still eating. While I had my back at Charlotte, I could hear her giggling. I was about to turn to check what she was giggling at, when a pair of hands covered my eyes.
“Aaron? Is that you?”
He then uncovered my eyes.
“How did you know that it was me?” Aaron looked at me smiling. He had showered and looks a lot better now.
“Who else would it be? Your mom left about an hour ago, also Elvie.”
“Elvie?”
“The cleaning lady.”
“Right.”
“How are you?” I started to serve him his food, the one I was supposed to place on the tray.
“I’m good. A little bit dizzy. But I can manage. You will be leaving in an hour.”
“Are you sure you can manage?”
“Uh-hmm.”
“About that, your mom asked me to stay the night. I had informed my parents already. I’m all okay to stay. You need to rest further. You wouldn’t want your fever to come back.”
“Wow. That’s the greatest news I heard the whole day.”
“You haven’t heard any.”
I gave Aaron a report on what happened the whole day. He asked for the muffin I made and then asked for a second.
“Uncle Ron, that’s mine.”
“It’s okay, Charlotte. I could make again tomorrow. Would you like to help me bake muffins?”
“Yes, Cali.”
“Then we will bake some. Uncle Aaron will be the judge if it’s delicious or not.”
“Okay. You can have all the muffins Uncle Ron.”
Charlotte is now sleeping and I’m ready to doze off, too. The problem is I don’t have anything to wear tonight. I have clothes for tomorrow, good thing I keep a set of extra clothes inside my car.
I think I’ll have to sleep in with the ones I’m wearing.
I checked everything, the door and window inside the house, making sure that they are secured. After getting two glasses of water, I made my way up to Aaron’s room to replenish his water supply. I saw him sleeping, so I moved quietly.
“Calista.”
He’s not sleeping, by the way he looks at me.
“Sorry, I thought you were sleeping. I’ll just replenish your water.”
Aaron sat up and asked me if I needed anything for my sleep over. I grabbed this opportunity to borrow something from him.
“Could I borrow a shirt? I don’t have anything to wear tonight.”
“In my bed, you do not have to wear anything.”
“Excuse me?”
“What?”
Did he just used my tactic on him?
“Never mind.”
“Sure. You can get any shirt from my closet. You already know where they are. And you can use my bathroom. I have extra toothbrush there.”
I went ahead and got a shirt. I went inside his bathroom and did my nightly routine, without my facial wash though.
When I was done, I went out to see Aaron sitting at the edge of his bed.
“Uhm. Aaron? Where can I sleep?”
“Beside me. Come on. I’m sleepy already.”
I stood there frozen.
“Don’t make me repeat what I said, Calista. You still have to take care of me, right? So, you should stay beside me.”
I quickly went under the blanket and turned on my side far from him.
“Good night, Calista.”
“Good night, Aaron.”
“Will I be getting a good night kiss?”
“You’re pushing it too much.”
I’m only kind to you today, but I haven’t forgotten what you did to me yesterday.
“Okay. Maybe tomorrow.”
“Good night, Aaron.”
“Good night, my angel.”
