Chapter 3 .
Lisa's POV
Being a mother comes with a lot of responsibilities. My own daughter hates me and thinks I don't like her but she doesn't know the reason why am doing all this. Owen my new husband is a murder and a violent abuser.
************Flashback*********
Owen and my husband James are good friends and even started doing some experiments together but one day my husband found out that our daughter is special and is too smart for her age. We decided to hide it from Owen because he's greedy and vicious. But I don't know how he found out about it.
" I know what you and James are hiding" he said angrily.
" what are you ----- " I was interrupted by a piercing sound. I rushed upstairs to see my husband in a pool of his own blood.
" James" I shouted.
" protect Serena at all cost and tell her I love her" he muttered as he closed his eyes.I burst into tears.I saw Serena hiding at a corner before I could console her Owen dragged me out.
" Marry me and I will spare your daughters life." he said shamelessly.
" Never" I protested.
Be I could protest anymore he launched towards me. He r***d me and beat me. He made me abuse Serena and even sent her to an orphanage and brought her back when she was 11. He wanted me to always spoil his bratty daughter Chyna.

That's how the abuse and misery started. I have even been diagnosed with pelvic cancer.
