Chapter 1
Serena's POV
" Serena aren't you done with my luggage." My husband Archer said.
" huh sorry. am done let's go." I said hesitatingly.
" I will be back next week." He said as he took his wallet.
" Archer so if you don't go what will happen." I asked him. I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about this.
" Serena, you know how important this contract is for me and the Bolton's." he said lovingly. I just nodded. I decided to escort him to the airport. Even though Archer is rich and can hire bodyguards , I wanted to be sure that he's okay my self.
He was to board the plane in one hour later. So we went to the cafeteria and chatted for a while before festus my father in law called Archer that it was time for them to leave. We immediately went to the departure lane. They will be leaving in their private jet.
" Take care " I said as I waved at Archer. I felt so empty, I don't know why. I have always been relying on Archer for everything. I thought as he's leaving me for a week what am I going to do. Even though he's leaving for just a week it feels like he's leaving me forever. My thoughts were interrupted from an incoming call from my bestie Megan.
