40 The truth is I need the police. But I can’t trust them. They’re two very different things. The moment I saw Gavin Armitage’s photo, I knew what I had to do. I couldn’t risk McKenna speaking to him. There’s no way he’ll have left a single grain of evidence that they can use. He’s too smart for that.
