I wisped through the forest, feeling the sticks snap under my paws as I let my wolf take me to wherever her heart desired. The wind blew through my fur making me feel freed and alive. I paid no attention to why I suddenly loved to run so much, an irritating itch formed under my skin when I didn’t give into my primal need. My paws screeched against the forest floor as I glared up to the setting sun on the horizon of the lake. I wasn’t sure why my wolf kept bringing me here but it was the most beautiful landscape I’d ever seen.
I quickly shifted to my human form and slowly entered the cold water up to my waist that sent goosebumps up my body, yet it still felt so good. Toned large arms wrapped around my waist, my wolf purred, picking up that it had been our mate.
