I wasn’t convinced that Alpha Jaxon was going to agree to take me on a run, I could hear the hesitation seeping from his voice, especially because I was still recovering from a rogue attack. I had been pleasantly surprised at how easily I was able to sway him with a few sappy pouts. I figured my best chances of getting out of this room was to ask him to take me. Truthfully, I had never been one of those shifters that needed to run or their wolf would take control, like my sister was. A run through the forest once every few days satisfied my wolf, keeping her calm and at bay. Bailey was the same way, although we replaced that need with treks through the forest.
