Chapter Seven - Kidnapped

3228 Words
Jackson was in a panic. He had no idea how he was going to capture or get rid of Warren. He moved silently through Glacier woods until he reached Dead Tiger Pack. He wrinkled his nose in disgust as the place was disgusting. Spotting Axel, the pack's leader, he whistled out to get the wolf's attention. Axel turned at hearing the noise and Jackson made himself visible for a second. He watched as Axel excused himself and came to him. “I told you never to come here!” Axel hissed out and Jackson flinched. The rogue was the leader and even Jackson could feel his power and authority. “Yeah, I know but I need your help,” “What’s in it for me?” Axel questioned curiously and it was at that moment that Jackson made a deal with the devil. - Felicity looked around the training grounds at the members. She knew that the competition was in just two weeks and there was much training that needed to be done. She spotted Jacob in the crowd and smiled warmly at the wolf. She liked him, she liked Sandra and she made a mental note to go and visit the she-wolf after the training exercise. Jackson still hadn’t arrived, and she wasn’t sure where he was. She decided to go ahead with the exercise. “Alright warriors, you know the drill, are you ready?” “Yes! Luna!” they shouted out and she sent off the first group. Jacob made his way through the remaining members. “Luna? Where is Jackson?” “I honestly don’t know,” she replied to his question with a frown. She didn’t have a partner and she was in the second group. She took out her phone and called Jason. “Hello?” “Jason, it’s me, Felicity,” “Yes, Luna how can I help you?” “I was wondering if you could partner up with me for the exercise run as Jackson is MIA,” she waited for him as she could clearly hear him asking to be excused from his current duties. “I will be there soon Luna,” she hung up and smiled at Jacob. “Don’t worry, I’m sure he just forgot, you are in the last group, when the second group leaves, wait twenty minutes before you send off the last group, ok?” “I got it, Luna,” Jacob said as he glanced down at his phone. Felicity turned to see Jason running towards them. Luckily, he knew how the exercise worked and she didn’t have to tell him anything other than their group and purpose. “I’m here Luna,” “Thank you for helping me out Jason and please call me Felicity,” she smiled at him and he blushed. She reckoned he was her age and she quickly told him about their group and strategy. “Ok, group two, let's go!” she shouted out and the group rushed to the woods. Jason stayed by her side and she motioned for him to follow her. “Ok, Luna, um I mean, Felicity, what’s the plan?” “Firstly, let's wash off and disguise our scents,” he nodded, and they ran to the river. A lot of the members wherein the lake and she shook off the chill of the water as she drenched herself in water. Once she was satisfied that she was wet and clean she got out and rolled herself around in the muddy grass. She spotted some animal droppings not too far off and just as she was about to collect some, Jason beat her to it. She smiled in agreement and he shared some of the s**t with her. Sniffing herself and Jason, she deemed their scents to be disguised. She looked down at her watch and knew that the last group would be heading their way in less than five minutes. “Should we go up?” Jason suggested and she nodded. “Good idea, but let’s go deeper first,” they took off and she was impressed that he managed to keep up with her. She noticed they where quite deep in the forest already and no other wolves were in sight. Jason stopped her and pointed out quite a dense looking tree and she nodded. “Looks good to me,” she barely whispered, and they started to climb up. The leaves were full and green and she was happy to see that they blended in rather well. Once they were high up enough they stopped and got as comfortable as they could. “So, the way I understand it, is we could attack the hunters and then become hunters or just wait them out,” “Yes, that’s right, what is your strongest side?” she asked him. “I’m good at hiding but I’ll admit I’m a better hunter,” “Me too, let's scout out and wait for a hunter to come along, surprise them, take over their gear and hunt down the rest,” plan in action, they waited for a pair of hunters to come into view. It was getting dark and chilly but neither spoke nor slept. She felt Jason’s movement and turned to look at him and he pointed down to the left. She followed his finger and spotted two wolves. Hunters. Felicity smiled and watched as Jason effortlessly moved down. She heard the grunt and then a loud thud. Worried that Jason had been caught she slowly and quietly made her way down. She stopped when a loud, boom went through the silent night. She cringed thinking that Jason wasn’t much of a hun - BOOM! Felicity got such a fright from the second boom that she fell the rest of the way, landing with a soft thud as her ass touched the ground. “Lu-Felicity, are you alright?” Jason rushed to her side and asked in concern. She looked at him and smiled. He had the paint gun swung over his shoulder and she spotted two wolves making their way back to the village. “You did it!” she squealed and hugged him. He gave her a surprised look and then blushed. “You didn’t think I could?” “For a moment there I doubted but I was wrong, and I apologize,” she looked down in shame and he chuckled as he handed her the other paint gun. “Now the hunted becomes the hunter,” he whispered, and she couldn’t help but giggle at his smugness. They slowly began their way through the woods. - Jackson smirked as he watched Jason take out the two wolves. He knew Jason was a natural hunter and wasn’t surprised by the outcome. Although felicity was. He hated it when she threw herself at him and hugged him. Jealousy was a nasty thing. He silently followed them as they moved through the woods. They obviously weren’t aware that they had been the last ones. He wouldn’t inform them of course. He followed, waiting for them to split, just long enough for him to knock Jason out. When the split happened, he almost missed it but followed Jason silently. Suddenly the wolf stopped and looked around, realizing he had lost his partner. As Jason went passed a very well-hidden Jackson, he stood and hit him over the head with a rock. Watching him fall to the ground made him feel better. That will teach him to touch his possession. He hid back behind the bush and waited for Felicity to find Jason. It took so long; he had developed a cramp. Just as he was considering standing up and stretch, he spotted Felicity making her way in his direction. “Oh Jason!” she called out softly. She bent down to check his pulse and that’s when he made his move. He used the same rock to knock her out and gently picked her up before making his way to his hidden cave in Glacier Woods. A cave was shown to him by Axel. He carried her deep into the cave and set her in the made cell he had been working on all day. Locking her inside, he went back to the entrance of the cave and motioned for the two rogues to help him push the boulder to close off the entrance. There was another way in, one that only Axel knew of, one that Jackson would use to come and go as he liked. Satisfied that his possession was safe for the night he ran back to his pack. - Warren started to panic. Jason had returned with a massive blow to his head and no Felicity. He knew it was pointless to send out his guards and warriors to go look for her as it had started to rain heavily. “Alpha, as soon as the rain lets up, we can go out,” Jacob advised him. Warren turned to the wolf and snarled. “Who are you to tell me anything?” “I’m sorry Alpha, it’s just that right now the rain is washing away any trace and scent. If you send out anyone now then they will be going around in circles,” Warren knew he was right, but it still angered him. “This is all my fault,” Jason mumbled, and Warren was tempted to agree. “No, you were knocked out, Felicity was taken, this is far from your fault, someone planned this and where the hell is Jackson?” he roared out the last part, furious that the lead warrior was missing. “I hear you are all looking for me?” Jackson suddenly stumbled into the office. The smell of alcohol was so overpowering that Warren wanted to vomit. As the warrior fell to the floor, the smell was now mixed with the stench of smoke and vomit. Warren turned away before he too threw up all over the floor. Jason rushed out of the room and Jacob went to Jackson's side. “Brother, what on earth have you done?” Warren heard Jacob whisper to the now unconscious Jackson. “Well that explains what Jackson has been up too,” Warren commented. He knew that drinking was a way to escape as he had been doing it for years. He couldn’t quite figure out why Jackson would drink as he hadn’t thought he had a problem. Warren knew something was up with the wolf, but he wouldn’t know for sure until he spoke to him. “Take him home,” he instructed Jacob. “Jason!” he called out for his beta. “Yes alpha?” “Help Jacob get Jackson home please,” he watched as they got Jackson to his feet and took him out of the office. He grimaced at the vomit and mind-linked Jessica to come to clean it up for him. He left the office and went over to the group of warriors and guards. “As much as I want to go out there right now to find our Luna, the weather isn’t going to allow us to do that. As soon as the rain stops, we re-assemble and start the search, in the meantime, get some rest,” slowly they left the packhouse and Jason re-appeared. “Alpha?” “Yes, Jason?” “Jackson is safe in bed and sleeping like a baby,” “Thank you, Jason, get some rest, soon we go on the hunt for our Luna,” Jason bid him goodnight and Warren went to his bedroom. He looked around the room and immediately felt lost. Felicity was missing. He knew she hadn’t run away; he knew someone had taken her. Why he wasn’t sure, but whoever had done this was going to pay with their life. - “Ouch,” Felicity mumbled as she touched the back of her head. Someone had knocked her out and brought her to this disgusting, cold place. She was in some kind of cell. Looking around, she figured she was deep in a cave. “Not the pack territory,” she said out loud. She had been through every inch of the pack's territory and there was no cave on those grounds. “Where am I then?” she wondered. Whoever had done this had made sure she wouldn’t be able to get out. The cell bars were made of pure silver and burned at her touch. The cell was small and held a single bed, which by the way looked very comfortable and clean, a lantern and three buckets. Upon inspection, she assumed one was to do her business in and the other two held fresh clean water. She greedily drank from the one bucket and went over to the bed. It looked so welcoming that she pulled down the covers and climbed into bed. The pillow felt like heaven and she pulled the blanket over herself before falling asleep.   “Hey! Wake up!” Felicity could hear someone shouting out to her and for a moment she was confused by her surroundings. Realizing that it wasn’t a nightmare but in fact her reality, she sat up and looked at the man standing on the other side of the bars. He wasn’t very well dressed and reminded her of a rogue. “Are you rogue?” she asked roughly. She coughed a bit and cleared her throat. “Are you a rogue?” she asked again, this time a lot more clearly. She could see that it was the day as the air smells like freshly cut grass. “Yeah, what’s it to you?” “Why am I here?” “I don’t know, all I was told was to deliver you breakfast,” he pushed through a lunchbox under the bar and left her alone. She didn’t want anything, but the sound of her hungry tummy rumbling made her grab the plastic box and open it. The smell of boiled eggs, fried bacon, cheese, and freshly baked bread made her mouth water. Felicity took her time eating the meal, waiting for the effect of possible poison to take its course. When she was done eating and was still alive, she went back over to the bucket. Embarrassingly she used the empty bucket and quickly closed the lid before using the second bucket to bathe herself as best as she could. She took a drink from the third bucket and then laid down on the bed. Hopefully whoever had brought her here would show up soon so that she could kick their ass and go home. - The rain had stopped around two in the early hours. Warren hadn’t slept and he immediately called his guards and warriors to prepare for the search. It was now well after eight and they had found nothing. As in nothing. No tracks, no scent, no sign of their beloved Luna. Panic had settled in as well as frustration and anger. If he had mated and marked her, then this would be a whole lot easier. “I don’t think she is in the pack's territory,” Jacob informed him when they re-grouped. He nodded as he had already figured she wouldn’t be. “No sign in the human town,” Jason informed him, and he nodded once again. “What about Glacier woods?” he asked. Oliver stepped forward from that group. “It’s a lot of ground to cover and we haven’t found anything thus far, but we are still searching. We do have to be careful as Glacier woods holds a lot of rogues,” Oliver told him. Warren had been searching with this team and understood that the forest was massive. It would take time to work through it all. “Thank you, team, have breakfast and then we resume the search. Felicity needs to be found. Is Jackson awake yet?” he directed the question to Jacob. “Not yet,” came the response. Warren dismissed them all and made his way to Jackson's home. Without knocking he entered the house. Moving around the clean place to the bedroom, he wasn’t worried about the intrusion, he wanted answers. - Jackson could feel his Alpha’s presence and he slowly opened his eyes. Sure, enough Warren was looking around his bedroom. “Alpha,” he got his attention. “Jackson, how are you?” Warren asked him. Jackson wasn’t a fool but decided to play along to keep up the pretense. “I’ll survive, to what do I owe the pleasure of you invading my private home?” he knew it was a risk speaking to his alpha in such a way, but he couldn’t help himself. “You were missing yesterday and then last night you stumbled into my office, drunk and passed out,” Jackson didn’t need a recap. The plan had gone off without any problems, as for acting drunk and getting sick, that had been easier to pull off than capturing Felicity. He wanted to go and see her, but he would have to wait. “I apologize Alpha for my behavior, yesterday morning when I awoke, I felt depressed and lonely. I went into the human town to look for companionship,” Jackson chooses his words carefully, knowing full well that Warren had done the same thing many times over the years. He watched as Warren’s features were taken over by guilt. “No need to apologize as I do understand such things, however, I must inform you that our Luna has been taken,” “What?! NO!” he laid it on thick as he jumped out of bed, nearly knocking Warren over. “How Alpha?” “Yesterday during the exercise, someone attacked and knocked Jason out, then took her,” “That’s terrible, search parties?” Jackson asked, more out of curiosity than anything else. “Yeah, so take a shower, clean up and meet me back at the packhouse for further instructions,” Warren turned and left the house. When Jackson felt it was safe, he took out his phone and called Axel. “How are things?” he asked him. “Good morning to you too, and yeah things are fine,” came the response from the rogue’s leader. “Good, don’t forget to feed her,” “She has already received breakfast, as per your request, so don’t worry, when will you be making an appearance?” “Tonight,” “Alright, see you then,” Axel hung up and Jackson smiled. He finally had his possession and he couldn’t wait to claim her completely.
