Noah woke up to an empty bed again. He was about to frown, then realized it was the day Nox will come back. He immediately took his phone and dialed his number, but the other line was busy. Noah dropped the phone on the bed and hugged his knees.
"Noah?" his mother called outside.
"I'm up, mom!" Noah said and slowly got down on the bed.
"Okay, let's go and eat breakfast together," she said. Noah nodded as his mom could see him and opened the window in their room.
"Be there in a moment, mom!" he replied. Noah inhaled the scent of fresh air. The sun was already up, and the birds were energetically singing their song. Noah grabbed his towel and went to the bathroom to wash. After doing his routine, he went out and opened the cabinet. He took out one of his shirts but ended up returning it
