——Sam   My smile faded the second I saw Dean sandwiched between Chloe and Bruce when I walked into the crowded cafeteria with my tray of unhealthy lunch food: burger, mashed potato, and soda. I glared at Dean as I set my tray down on the table, sitting opposite the three of them. “Why are you sitting with us?” I asked him. Chloe made a face. “And why so rude, loser?” Bruce laughed loudly and almost choked on his Doritos. When he finally cleared his throat, he asked, “What happened to you? Are you on your period?” I looked down and poked exceedingly at my mashed potato with my fork. I wasn’t over yet with what happened between me and Dean. That was what’s wrong.
