I left my little mate alone to get acquainted with her new room, and time for a shower to soothe her aching muscles. I was still confused as to why I cared about how she was feeling physically, but brushed it off as the mate bond messing with my head. I was in my office signing a few documents before I got myself ready for bed when my beta came in with a few questions about a contract he was looking over.
"Alpha, I think this company is trying to pull a fast one on us. Can you take a look at this document before I sign off on the account invoices?" he asked as he walked toward my desk.
