Chapter 14 SundayIt was late the next morning and Megan sipped her coffee as she looked across the desk at Aiden. They were in his office, comparing notes from the night before. As Megan had expected, the women’s dressing area the night before was full of speculation as to what had happened to Mary. They were outraged someone would hurt their dear friend, and unnerved this violence had come to Citrus Beach. Although everyone seemed to have something to say on the subject, they found no new clues. The food had been great, the ballroom decorated beautifully, and the atmosphere was perfect for a wonderful night. But nobody felt like celebrating and there had been little dancing.
