Chapter 3: Bumps In The Road
Christmas vacation—oops—holiday break was over. Andy was getting used to life at home. Both housework and general upkeep were at an all-time post-Patti high. Andy’s culinary skills were making it hard to keep my aging body in somewhat decent shape and the house had not been so well tended in years. Andy seemed happy enough but I sensed something wasn’t quite right. When I asked him about it, though, he said I was imagining things. I wasn’t so sure.
