Chapter 2: Damian

"Celeste! I said not now, damn it!" I grabbed her hand as it started to trail down my abs to my d**k. 

"Come on Alpha Damian. I'm in heat. I need you, baby," Celeste purred, rubbing herself against me. 

"Find yourself another d**k to slide on. I'm f*****g busy here, can't you see!?" I pushed her off me. She stumbled back on her high heels. 

"Fine! Just don't be howling for me later tonight!" She screamed as she stormed out of my office, slamming the door. 

"Damn, Bro! How could you turn down that piece of fine tail?" My Beta, Marcos complained as he stared at the door.

"Go chase her and give her your d**k, then. I don't think she cares who gives it to her as long as she gets it." I said laughing at him.

"Naw, Boss! Adeline would have my balls and hide hung up on the wall, you know that" Marco shook his head and smiled.

That right there was one of the reasons why I didn't want a mate. No one would ever be pulling my chain to make me heel. I would f**k whomever I wanted, whenever I wanted. As Alpha, that was one of the best perks of the job.

"You weak dumbass. That's what you get for getting yourself collared to only one female. Granted, Adeline is a good, feisty one....but she would have to be, to survive being mated to you." I laughed as I punched him in the shoulder.

"Damn right she's feisty. Check out the new claw marks," Marcos said as he turned and lifted up his shirt to reveal new claw marks down his back. "Thank the moon goddess for my Adeline. She can give as much as she can take, if not more."

"Good, She needs to be tough to keep you in line. Now let's get down to business. Did the rest of the Grange Pack members make it safely to our land? Their alpha had no heirs and made me swear to take in his pack as my own when he passed on to the fade." I said looking at the maps and Grange Pack member rosters on my desk.

"Yes Sir, Alpha. The last load showed up last night. We had their houses built and move-in ready for them yesterday morning. Their number of guards adds twenty new men to our guard. All of whom seem to be adjusting well to the change in command this morning at the training grounds." Marcos informed me.

"Good. It's good that our numbers are rising. Make sure our females take welcome baskets to the new families and the new pups are added to our class rosters at the school and training grounds. They are part of us now. We will have the induction ceremony tonight to officially make them part of our pack." I dictated.

"Of course, Alpha. I will make sure Adeline has all the preparations ready and that all the new families are informed." My Beta promised.

"She is a fine female, Marcos. Not sure what this castle or pack would do without her. Tell her I said so." I said quietly.

Marcos blinked surprisingly and said, "Thank you, man. She is going to be thrilled to hear that. Especially coming from you."

"Right." I cleared my throat uncomfortably. "So be it. Now...how are our plans of defense look...." I started to say but was interrupted with a voice in my head. 

"Alpha, Sir. We have leech-intruders outside the south perimeter." Patrick's voice rung in my head through the pack link that kept all the Guard connected to me.

Marcos heard Patrick's voice in his head too and stood up straight, listening.

"Let me see," I commanded. My eyes glazed over as I saw through the eyes of my guard.

I saw the young black-haired male leech in a fighting stance in front of the curly reddish-brown haired female leech. She stepped out from behind him pissed as hell. "Dem, Don't do that protecting s**t! I can hold my own, thank you very much," the female leech hissed. 

Why the hell I was noticing that her tight blue jeans stuck to her like a second skin and that her black tank fit tight and hugged her nice round t**s, I have no f*****g clue. I shook my head to break the image link. 

My wolf quietly growled what seemed to me like the word "Mine" in my head. "What the f**k!" I yelled back at Demere, my wolf. He stayed silent. I must have heard him wrong.

I was clearing my thoughts with a shake of my head as Patrick said, "Alpha?"

"Bring her to me Now!!" I growled to Patrick through the link.
