Chapter 8: Damian

700 Words
I entered and sat at the desk that many alphas have sat at before me. Just being in this office, I could feel their power and wisdom bouncing off the four walls.  I start going over the plans for the new shelter Marcos and I want to build for the She-wolves and Pups that have suffered at the hands of Male-wolves or others. A safe haven for them to stay at. It was actually an idea Adeline came up with and presented to me a few days ago. Having come from my own messed-up childhood, I completely understand the need for it. A knock, knock sound came and a voice that said, "Alpha Damian?" made me lookup.  "Enter," I said. Michael, one of my ambassador scouts came into my office holding a red envelope. I already know where that message was coming from. The leeches wanted to meet again.  Even though I despise leeches for what they put my people through, making a peace treaty with them was the first thing I did as alpha. My people had just come out of years of war with the leeches and needed time to heal and rebuild. I did the sacrifice of eating my pride and did what no other former alpha would do- open communications with the leeches. Marcos suggested one way to accomplish this-the ambassador scouts. I appointed Michael and his mate Lenore for these positions. I grew up with them and knew the wisdom they held and the open-mindedness they had as well as the ability to protect themselves for they once held positions in our guard. "What do the leeches want? They actually sent a request this time instead of sending secret scouts to our land?" I huffed. "Yes Sir, Alpha. They request a sit down with us to discuss the caravan of new wolves that came to our lands. They would like to meet before our scheduled meeting that is supposed to be at the end of the month." Michael informed me. "Really...well it's nice to know they want to constantly keep their nose in our business. What happened to they stay to themselves and we do the same?" I asked. "We decided it would be better to keep open communication to not have any misunderstandings Alpha. This is why Lenore and I suggested having meetings with Vincent and Alice every other month to keep each other informed of developments happening within each of the species. We even discussed opening up the meetings and suggesting ambassadors to other species in the area like the Witches and the Dragons if they can ever stop fighting amongst themselves to decide to make peace. Although I do not see that happening any time soon." Michael said to me. "I don't see that happening either. Alright. Tell them you want to meet tonight at the High Rock. Tell them I want to be present and to send a member of their filthy council also. I want to look them in the eye when I tell them they broke our peace treaty by sending rogue scouts on our f*****g lands!" I said as my fist landed on my desk. "Yes, Sir. However, may I suggest something Alpha?" Michael said as he stood up. "What?" I said looking at him. "May I suggest you go for a run or train to calm yourself down before the meeting. If you go in there angry as you are, I do not think that will help the open communication we are trying to build." Michael suggested. "f**k! Alright, I will play nice with the little leeches." I conceited.  Michael nodded and walked out.  I picked up the phone and dialed, A female voice answered after the first ring, "Hello my Alpha. I knew you would call."  "f*****g Celeste. Yeah baby, you knew. I am going for a run. When I get back I expect you in my bed, completely f*****g naked." I demanded. "Yes sir, My Alpha," Celeste purred.  I hung up the phone without saying another word. Celeste is a pest but she is a good f**k when I need one. And before I meet with the f*****g leeches I definitely need a good f**k.
