Ulysses's POV It was snowing. Snowflakes filled the air. I stood under the spruce trees, my face cold, gazing at a nearby cabin. Its reddish-brown bricks were covered in thick snow. Under the eaves, a window emitted a dim yellow light, and two small pine trees stood in front. Everything felt familiar. From the first time I saw this place until now, almost nothing had changed. The wind blew the snowflakes around, swirling them until they gently tapped against the cabin's glass window, emitting faint vibrations. I stared at that window, knowing that any moment now, someone would come to open it, and then I would see her. "...Ulysses? Is that you?" A melodious voice called out.
