I woke up to a message on my phone.
Morning, beautiful. I had fun last night. But you’re there, and I’m here. We should fix that.
A smile curled on my lips. Oh, Matthew. What will I do with you? I got ready to send a message back when I heard pounding coming from downstairs.
I arose from my bed, heading to the kitchen. I opened the door to see Matthew standing there with two coffees. I smiled as I opened the door, and he came into the kitchen.
“I thought you could use some coffee from home.”
I took the cup from Matthew and sipped the coffee. “I need to get a coffee pot to save some money.”
“You could have coffee with me.” Matthew drank his coffee.
“What about breakfast?”
“I prefer dessert before breakfast.”
My eyes widened.
