When I woke, I felt even more tired than before. My eyes still hurt from the crying last night. I laid there with my eyes closed for a few minutes. By smell alone, I knew I was cuddled up to Cullen. I assumed Calder was down training as it was his morning to do so. I breathed in Cullen’s scent, trying to let it calm my nerves. Last night’s confession felt a little unresolved still which had me on edge. Can a wolf reject their mate after they are marked?
