There was a soft knock on my office door. “Come in,” I called. I looked up to see my beautiful mate peeking her head in the door. I smiled and stood up. She came in all the way. Calder pushed the door open and was standing behind her. I opened my arms and she rushed to me, right into my arms. Calder came in and closed the door as I hugged her tight.
“I missed you,” she said softly into my chest.
“I missed you too, love,” I told her.
“We are in a little trouble,” Calder linked me. I kissed the top of Remi’s head. “She is mad that we have been keeping things from her,” he continued knowing that I was trying not let on that we were mind linking.
