Cindra’s POV Wind whipped through my hair. I laughed, enjoying the feeling of my golden locks flying out behind me. I leaned down to lie flat against my mate’s back as we went under low-hanging branches, across streams, and over bushes. Helio’s large dark wolf tore through the forest. Despite his injuries, he didn’t seem burdened by my weight at all. My fingers threaded through his soft fur as my laughter drifted away in the warm air of the day. It was exhilarating, intoxicating.
