Mate.
My wolf was on board with mating Knox as well, so it seemed. My heart pounded in my chest, and I let the warmth of him seep into my body and soul for a moment.
But just a moment.
“Please let me go,” I said, narrowing my eyes at him.
“Oh.” Knox immediately released me. “Sorry. I’m sorry I ran into you.”
“It’s all right.” I plastered a smile on. “Thank you for catching me.”
Knox bit his lip, and I thought he might laugh, but instead he simply said, “Of course.”
