Helio’s POV Strolling through the castle gardens, my eyes caught sight of Knox in conversation with another man. They were walking at a leisurely pace with that militant walk as if they always had something stuck up their asses. Their voices were too low for me to make out what they were saying. The rage I’d felt earlier when he dismissed me so abruptly boiled up inside of me, sending me storming in his direction. “Knox.” His eyebrows arched as he tried to deduce what I was up to. “Helio? I know you wanted to talk, but I’m busy right now.” “It’s important.” I took another step closer to him. All the politeness from when he’d just arrived gone, his true colors shined through. “You’re just as rude as your ancestors if you make a habit of interrupting conversations.” I gritted my teeth.
