Knox’s POV Out in the snow, I took stock of the weather situation. The snow had died down to a sprinkling that I could see through now. It was deep, but not so deep that four wolves couldn’t make it back down to the forest. Conditions seemed to be about as good as they were going to get. Still, I rounded the side of the cottage and sat on my haunches instead of going back inside to the others to suggest we leave.
