Zeke’s POV I was well versed in many things. My brain was different to others. It was like a sponge, I soaked up everything I read and was taught, I took nothing for granted and always wanted to know more. I was never satisfied with being told. I had to find out for myself. From a young age, I questioned people’s knowledge and read and researched everything I was expected to learn. Soon, that wasn’t enough, I needed more, so my mum would take me to the library and let me use the computer to expand my learning. She caught me one day researching the bible, she was momentarily pleased with my want for knowledge on this subject, but when she realised, I was questioning her beliefs on same s*x relationships and marriage, she was horrified. I was 13 years old, and confused about how I felt.
